Scams and ID Theft

• Photostat every card in your wallet and keep it in a safe place, not in the wallet, with contact numbers in the event it is stolen.

• Tip: If anything looks too good to be true, it most likely is. Scams are being developed by the day and they pray on the uninformed.

• Shred any documents that contain your Social Security #, Medicare number or other vital information before discarding. Crosscut shredders are best.

• Don’t count on others for your personal safety. When you need them, they probably won’t be there. Personal and family safety can no longer be taken for granted.
